Velachery Govt School excels in Higher Secondary exam

The government higher secondary school at Velachery has been ranked third among the state run schools in Chennai district and was ranked first in coeducation schools. The number of students appeared for the higher secondary board exams are 288 in which 273 had tasted success.
The overall success ratio is 95 % which is an increase of 6% when compared to last year which enabled the school to possess the performance constantly.
The school topper master V.Vignesh has scored 1136/1200 in which he has secured centum in mathematics followed by R.Suraj who has secured 1126/1200 and the third position was grabbed by R.karthik who has secured 1119/1200.
Out of the 95% passed out, 11 students have scored above 1000 which was promising for the upcoming students in the forth coming school sessions.
