Mangoes, the fruit relished the most during the summer season seem to have arrived late at local markets.
At Kavita Stores in New Bazaar in T. Nagar, the store which is run by two brothers, there were limited quantities.
One shopkeeper said that the delayed ripening of mangoes and the
Assembly elections were the cause for the late arrival of the fruit.
