Ramana Kendra: quiet place for discourses, chanting and meditation

The Ramana Kendra, an abode of tranquility and peace, stands at the heart of Alamelumangapuram, Mylapore. next to P S Senior Secondary School.


This hall is open for all from between 8 in the morning and 7 30 in the evening. Discourses are held regularly  in this hall, which was built as a shrine for the renowned sage, Ramana Maharshi.


Numerous devotees visit the hall for a peaceful period of meditation, chanting or just plain introspection

Discourses on the Bagavatha darsanam are scheduled to take place here from July 21st to 27th from 6.30 to 8.30 in the evening, while a parallel discourse, 'Naan yaar', delivered in Tamil will take place from July 22nd to 28th from 7 to 8 in the evening. both these sets of discourses will be given by Acharya Nochur Sri Venkataraman.
