Pichwai paintings are on display at an art exhibition at the Leela Palace Hotel in MRC Nagar.
It is on till June 5. The gallery is open from 11 am to 8 pm daily.
These intricately done paintings reveal an ancient art form in which screens of painted cloth are draped to form a backdrop for the deity of Shrinathji (the seven-year old lord Krishna who lifted the mountain with his finger).
All the paintings in the collection represent lord Krishna in his boyhood.
The prices of the paintings range from Rs.1,60,000 to Rs.30,000.
