Connemara Library, wherein lies some of the most rare books and unique collections in the country, celebrated World Book Day (23.4.2017) by hosting a book exhibition at the old building, from April 23 to 29.
A variety of books were kept for display for the public - ranging from philosophy and arts to law and fiction.
All the books had great heritage value.
Some examples - a copy of Constitution of India and a collection of Scientific American magazines published in 1899. Also, a rare book on Leonardo Da Vinci's complete collections.
Also on display, were the Sahitya Akademi award-winning books in Tamil.
Connemara Library is at Pantheon Road, Egmore, Chennai, Tamil Nadu - 600008.
