Sai Baba devotees set up buttermilk stalls in city

By Pavithra Chandrasekhar

Sathya Sai Baba devotees are offering buttermilk in the various parts of the city to the people on the road who are thirsty. One such stall is set up on Dr. Ranga Road in Alwarpet.

The distribution of buttermilk started on May 2 and this will go on until the end of this month.

Devotees here said that on May 2 they also had an annadhanam ( distribution of food freely to the public).

The distribution of buttermilk is done every year at the time of Agninakshathram when the temperature is at its highest.

They said that they distribute a minimum of 100 litres of buttermilk everyday.
Many people moving around in the hot sun were happy to stop by for a glass of buttermilk.
