The summer showers over the last two days made the weather a little pleasant but it has also shown up civic problems.
Many inner and small streets in Mylapore are now slushy and one can see water stagnant in many areas.
This is seen on Solai Perumal Street and Abraham Street in Mylapore.
Residents say this is caused due to the uneven laying of roads.
Shopkeepers complain that the shoppers are not able to stand in front of their shops because there are pools of rain water!
